Community Access Fund
aka CAF
What is the CAF?
Through donations and fundraising, the Community Access Fund (CAF) works to break down financial and cultural barriers that limit access to the campout experience. CAF aims to foster a sense of belonging and strengthen connections that extend far beyond the event itself..
New for 2025
Launched as a pilot program in 2024, funded solely by a percentage of ticket sales, CAF proudly supported over 30 recipients. CAF is now combining contributions from generous donors and ticket sales. The goal is to increase the support available, eliminating financial barriers that could prevent marginalized members of our community from participating.
Applications for 2025 will open on June 9th and close on June 20th
Just a reminder: the CAF is here to support folks who would otherwise be priced out of attending.
This initiative is designed for those for whom the combined cost of a ticket, time off work, and other expenses makes participation out of reach. It's a community-powered effort, and we ask everyone to honor that by applying only if you truly need the support. If you’re in a position to pay for a ticket, please hold space for others by not applying.
CAF Recipients will receive:
1 sliding scale ($50-100) ticket
or 1 scholarship ticket ($0)Parking Pass
Priority sign-up for paid volunteer shifts ($25/hr), as requested
If donations exceed expectations, the CAF Committee will determine how funds are allocated (ex. travel stipend, camping gear rentals, etc)
